.Made by pinpricking inked paper, then applying bleach to the reverse for my graduation show at Falmouth College of Art, then exhibited at The Old Truman Brewery, London.
‘Only Connect’ uses an enlarged figure from a Titian painting – sinking or swimming, full of hope or despair, escape through obliteration or survival? This painting was the start of my journey into trying to evoke a sense of balance and the Sublime – to try and paint the liminal place between darkness and light.
